We are not members of the Elks, can my child still join the swim team?
Absolutely. Members and non-members are welcome to join the swim team.
How much does it cost to join the Elks Swim Team?
Members: $110 for first swimmer, $100 for each additional swimmer
Non-members: $135 for first swimmer, $125 for each additional
All families pay a $40 Booster Club fee.
No family pays for more than three swimmers!
Are there any extra fees for the swim team?
There is a one-time Booster Club fee of $40 per family. This covers the cost of each swimmer's team t-shirt and swim cap, as well as help cover the cost of Carb Load dinners, which registered swimmers can eat free on Tuesday evenings at 6 pm!
What sort of equipment will my child need?
All your child will need to participate in the swim team is a solid black competition style swimsuit and goggles!
We do have a swim team suit that you can order here - it will come with the logo on it.
When are practices held?
While school is still in session, practices will be Monday-Friday, from 4:30-5:30 for children aged 10 and under. Children aged 11 and up will practice from 5:30-6:30 pm. This year, afternoon practices will begin on Monday, May 6.
Once school is out, beginning on Monday, May 20, practices will move to the mornings from 8:30-9:30 am for 11 & over, 9:30-10:30 am for 10 & under. This schedule is subject to change as needed to best serve the swimmers.
